fiN – One To Watch

In my post Three Gigs That Made My 2011, I wrote a small review about a indie/rock band FiN and I mentioned how great their music is, so let’s have a look at it!

Well, first of all, the very important thing is that these guys sound great live. They supported Mona in Brighton when I saw them and I enjoyed them a lot. Definitely not one of those support bands you want off the stage as soon as possible.

Handsome devils…

Busy touring around the UK at the moment and gaining more and more fans with each gig, FiN are set for a great future. They supported great bands like The Kooks, Incubus and Mona in the past and they are about to play three shows with the amazing FEEDER! The tickets are all sold out!

These guys really deserve all the love they’re getting.

If you have a look at their website with a very smart title LifeIsWastedOnTheLiving and read the biography, you’ll find out interesting things about the band members, their cool way of releasing their debut album, what’s inspired them to make music or what are their music influences.

Here is a cool sneak peak quote from the lead singer Luke Joyce: “There are no rules. Throw away the rulebook. You want to aim as high as you can, and that’s what we’re gonna do. If you aim at ‘impossible’ you’re always going to end up better than if you just aim for somewhere logical.” Nicely said!

Here are some great tunes…

Convinced yet? 😉
